The standard print rate is 55 pages per minute (ppm) for A4 paper size in terms of the printer speed. When using an A3 paper size, the printing quality about 32 ppm while A4R runs at 40 ppm. Users with A5R paper size can expect a print rate of 35 ppm under normal conditions. The ideal print method for this machine is the laser beam print technology for monochrome printing.

Duplex printing for both sides of the paper runs by automatic control under standard conditions. When printing from a memory media, the machine supports USB memory key and memory cards. The compatible memory cards include the SD card, compact flash, and memory stick through the optional multimedia reader/writer-A2. Other media-related features have advanced space and well access as well as remote UI.

This machine supports standard print formats, including JPEG, TIFF, PDF, and XPS. Of these formats, the PDF and the XPS require PS Printer Kit. The AVI is for the PDF, while the direct print kit is for the PDF/XPS formats. However, this machine does not support the use of XPS direct print from removable media devices. The standard paper input capacity includes two 1500-sheet main trays and two 550-sheet capacity input trays. Besides, it also has a 100-sheet capacity multipurpose tray.
