It can produce up to 600 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) while the first print out page takes about 7 seconds. Also, fast document printing on A4 plain paper allows a speed of up to 23images per minute for black printing. On the other hand, the print rate for colored documents is approximately 15 ipm. This machine is also an excellent choice for crisp and sharp text printing that is water and highlighter marker resistant.
As a copier, the first copy out time is about 7 seconds while an average copy speed of 12 seconds for color documents. Moreover, this rate is about ten ipm on average. While scanning, this machine can produce an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. It is also compatible with the automatic document feeder (ADF) for plain paper in letter and A4 sizes. This ADF feature can hold up to 50 sheets to supplement the supply through the printer’s main tray.
The last notable feature of the scanning component is the scan to folder function (SMB) or scanner memory function. In the faxing specification, the options include fax to folder function (SMB). Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.

Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
