Why does my printer go offline Windows 10?
If a printer keeps going physically offline and resetting or switching itself on and off, it could be a power issue. Check the power cable and the wall outlet and change one at a time and retest. Change either the wall outlet or cable, run the printer for a while then test the other if the problem persists.
Why does my computer say my printer is offline?
For the most part, a printer will appear “Offline” if your computer is unable to establish communication with the device. This could be due to factors like loose cable connections, outdated printer drivers, problems with important system services, etc.
How do I get a printer that’s offline online?
Go to the Start icon on the bottom left of your screen then choose Control Panel and then Devices and Printers. Right click the printer in question and select “See what’s printing”. From the window that opens choose “Printer” from the menu bar at the top. Select “Use Printer Online” from the drop down menu.
